Science 10 Collab Project

Enough of the talking and let’s go ahead to make our own websites. After learning so much about websites and other platforms to make these websites. I find that Google Sites is the best, it’s quite easy to learn, the best when it comes to making things nice and simple. At the same time, this project was a great experience for me as I dove deeper into the world of Biology. I’ve learned how to do more advanced Punnett Squares and while doing this, I shared with the world on how to do it.

Personally, I’ve used this platform so many times in the past and it never fails to show great success.

I found that when putting a PDF file on the google site, you’ll need to save the PDF into your Google Drive and make sure that the settings for sharing is made public. This step is frustrating when you have limited storage space on Google Drive.

With that problem, I learnt that you should prioritize what you have in your own Drive and have a routine clean up. Cleaning up useless files is beneficial since free accounts on Google only come with 15 gigabytes of storage.

Not only did I learn that, but I learnt to also have a dummy account. At first, I wanted to try other sitemakers, but I didn’t want to use my personal account. So, I made a dummy account, which saved me plenty of spam emails regarding promotions.

It’s always a good idea to make sure you have a dummy account and have a very basic knowledge on how to create websites.
