Digital Storytelling

This speaks dear to my heart, as the story I am telling is a real life story. My friends from my old school helped me create a short story on it,and I created all the drawings within the video. With the help of my online friends, I managed to use their voices into my video.

The project gave me a good insight on what we can do, as students, to get our opinions out there.

Originally, I thought the project would be straight forward. However, I came across a problem where my file, after editing, got corrupted, meaning I lost the file altogether. This was a huge setback as the project was due shortly after. I didn’t finish it in time, but I did complete it meeting my goal and standard of a video.

I learnt that when doing editing on a software, be aware that it’s possible to have files corrupted. Therefore, it’s essential to have a backup file on hand, just in case, as this has happened once previously when doing a school project.

While working on this project, something else came to mind. Videos can be so beautiful when used correctly. It’s a wonderful medium to use as any artist. But just make sure you have a backup file on hand, otherwise you go ripping your hair out.
